Arsenal have pulled out with of contract negotiation with Aaron Ramsey, and the midfielder is likely to leave the club next summer after.
According to various reports, an agreement was in place, but Arsenal pulled out before a contract was drawn.
The initial agreement was a four-year extension for the midfielder, who is currently Arsenal’s longest serving player after joining the Gunners in 2008 in a 4.8m pound move from Cardiff City.
Ramsey’s current contract expires on 30 June 2019 and could sign for a pre-contract agreement with another club from January 1.
Ramsey, who famously scored both winning goals in Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph in 2014 and 2017, is also the North London’d club highest scoring midfielder in Modern times.
