The African National Congress(ANC) has won South Africa’s parliamentary elections with a total of 57.5% of the votes.
This would be the 6th term victory since the eradication of apartheid in the country, 25 years ago. The party won 230 seats of the 400 member Parliament.
Speaking on the victory, the president elect; Cyril Ramaphosa, who replaced Jacob Zuma mentioned; “Our people have given all of the leaders of our country a firm mandate to build a better South Africa for all.
