Honoring the people who have contributed to the success of the society through their craft and talent is one of the few ways to appreciate them for their excellent contribution, that is why First Afro-Heritage Entertainment have decided to give out award of recognition to some Nigerian icons for their uniqueness.
Mr Sola Olaniyan, the CEO and founder of First Afro-Heritage Entertainment saw the importance of appreciating various professionals and artistes for a job well done, hence the reason why he would be hosting many Nigerian broadcasting and entertainment icons at the first edition of Afro Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Award (AHBEA) which will hold at the Phoenix Hall, 15156 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, Texas. 77083. on Saturday October 31st 2015.
Starting from 2016, artistes would be expected to submit their movies for awards in different categories. This year’s edition is just a recognition award, and it’s not based on any category.
Many Nigerian artistes expected to be honored at the award event include but not limited to, veteran actors and actresses, Olu Jacobs, Patience Ozokwor, Bolaji Amusan, Jide Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Dele Odule, Idowu Phillips (Iya Rainbow), Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Antar Laniyan.
Also expected to receive awards at the event are, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Funsho Adeolu, Ramsey Nouah.
Come watch performances of US based artists like Bamy Cruise, C’Moore, Diamond Dee, Jemiriye Adeniji, and Nigeria hip-hop artists such as Jahbless aka Olori Ebi, Wiz Level, Oyinkanade of MTN Project Fame,Gabriel Afolayan and others.
Other Nollywood acts expected to grace the occasion are, Muka Ray, Bukola Fagbuyi aka Bukky Apesin, Liz Da-Silva, Regina Chukwu, Liz Anjorin, Rasaq Ajao-Araosan, Dele Ogundipe, Mistura Asunramu-Alao, Doris Simeon and many more.
Ace film maker, Tunde Kelani will be honored at the event and also premiere his recent movie, Dazzling Mirage at the pre-award event which will hold on Friday, October 30, 2015.
Veteran comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka (the 1st) will be the Master of Ceremony, while the Queen of juju music,Ayo Balogun will thrill the guests with her live band.
Dallas based celebrity blogger and OAP, Olufunke Mercyflawless will be setting the red carpet on fire with her charming personality.
