TV presenter, Bonang Matheba, lost out on an amazing opportunity to take her brand to the next stage by presenting on Moments with Mo on Ebonylife TV, Channel 165 (DStv).

Moments with Mo is one of the top syndicated shows across Africa. Matheba accepting a hosting gig with SABC 3’s Afternoon Express may have seen her bid adieu to the Ebony TV Moments With Mo deal.
According to Sunday World, the SABC prohibited her from joining the show as it would have presented a conflict of interest. “We wanted to work with her but unfortunately she has a talk show on SABC3 whose format is the same as ours, so we couldn’t proceed. We did not have a problem to work with her but we couldn’t because it was a conflict of interest,” said Ebony Life TV head of entertainment Sandra Amadio.
Matheba has a lot on her plate – she juggles a radio show on Metro FM in the morning, Afternoon Express in the afternoon, being the face of Revlon and presenting Top Billing.
Lerato Kganyago and Pearl Thusi have been unveiled as the local media personalities who have joined Moments with Mo instead. It is said they will be earning in US dollars, adding to the several pay cheques they get from presenting, modelling and DJing. Kganyago unveiled the new promo on her social media platforms.
