It’s been a Christmas filled with lots of giving and sharing with family and loved ones; hellofood’s giving spirit is still in full swing. The leading mobile and online food ordering market place has in a bid to make this season special for as many as possible, taken the cheer of the season to the doorsteps of Modupe Cole Memorial home and the Living Fountain Orphanage in Lagos Nigeria.
hellofood launched a CSR campaign titled “Light up a Soul”, an initiative to encourage generous giving and putting a smile on the faces of one another. The campaign had people choose preferred food and toys options on http://lightupasoul.hellofood.com.ng/csr which they would like to have donated to the homes and have hellofood make the donations on their behalf.
On the 30th of January 2014, the team at hellofod took these donations to the homes which were filled with smiles and laughter as the kids received and played with their toys. “It always such a pleasure to give freely, with no expectations of receiving something in return and being in the business of service, we’ll always be happy to put a smile on the faces of people. The support we have received thus far and are still receiving is very impressive and we hope it continues as we keep lighting up more souls together!” States Guillaume Leblond, the MD of hellofood Nigeria.
On food ordering service in Nigeria, Mr. Leblond promised that hellofood is taking Nigerians to another level in the coming year as the team keeps working very hard to simplify the ordering process… “just by visiting www.hellofood.com.ng, select your area, choose your preferred dishes from a long range of restaurants, complete your order by clicking on check out and your delicious meal is delivered to your doorstep in few minutes – we’re in the business of pampering you!”.
