NATS Holdings, the main air navigation service provider in the United Kingdom today experienced a computer failure which in turn disrupted flights all over the United Kingdom.
A technical problem at their Swanwick control centre caused delays at Heathrow as well as Gatwick as both airports were restricted to airlines for a while.
At Stansted, Bristol, Luton, Edinburgh as well as Southampton, problems have also been reported triggering massive delays of passenger flights.
As at the time of writing this report, NATS tweeted through their twitter handle that they are in the process of restoring to normal operations.
