Ayodele Fayose, Governor-Elect of Ekiti state, has reportedly expressed his doubts over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore’s ability of winning in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Osun state.
Fayose reportedly made the revelation while speaking on a radio programme that aired on 100.5 fm Ado-Ekiti.
“I can’t see Omisore winning the poll, I don’t think he can win, but I wish him good-luck”, Fayose reportedly said.
Many have described his expression of doubt on the PDP winning the Osun elections as a plus for the opposition with some speculating that his doubts may be an explanation for his absence from the party’s South-West campaign to Osun state.
The governor-elect, shortly after emerging victorious in the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti state, boasted that his party will sack all the governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Osun state governorship election is expected to take place on August 9.
The state of Osun and it’s affairs are just amazing, menm I love the state.
wishing em luck.
