On Sunday; November 15, 2013, The Future Awards Africa 2013 was formally opened at a special event celebrating the Best 100 – past winners at State House, Abuja by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Celebrity guests in attendance were Uche Jumbo, Stephanie Okereke Linus, Timi Dakolo, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Mrs. Awosika, Joseph Benjamin, Cobhams Asuquo, Kemi Lala Akindoju, OC Ukeje, Gideon Okeke, amongst others.
