Yvonne Adhiambo Awuor studied English at Kenyatta University and TV/Video Development at Reading University. She has worked as a screenwriter and served as Executive Director of the Zanzibar International Film Festival between 2003 and 2005.
The 2003 Caine Prize winner will take us on a 10-year journey as a writer from the book that brought her fame to her debut novel, Dust, which will be launched at the Kwani? Book Party on Friday, 29th November.
