Her Sound Nigeria, an initiative dedicated to empowering female music creatives, is excited to announce the launch of its second edition. Building on the success of the first program, Her Sound Nigeria 2.0 aims to further elevate the voices and careers of emerging talented women in the Nigerian music industry.
For the 2nd edition, Her Sound is proud to announce the support of Google Nigeria. This collaboration with Google marks a significant milestone for Her Sound Nigeria, combining technology and creativity to enhance the program’s impact. Google’s commitment to fostering innovation aligns with Her Sound Nigeria’s mission.
Her Sound Nigeria 2.0 will offer a range of support services to female music creatives, including mentorship, workshops, networking opportunities, and access to industry professionals. This initiative is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for women in African music, breaking down barriers, and amplifying the voices of aspiring female artists, producers, songwriters, and music professionals.
The program will also provide digital skills training and resources to help participants leverage technology to advance their careers. This year, Her Sound will select 30 participants to take part in the boot camp process.
