The 2023 Headies awards took place at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta, United States on Sunday, September 3, 2022, with new acts like Rema, Asake, and Odumodublvck taking the lead with multiple wins.
Mavin artiste, Rema became the biggest winner of the night with three gongs. Followed by Asake who won two categories including the coveted Next Rated Award; Burna Boy picked up the Afrobeat Single of the Year and the Best R&B Song.
