Nigerian musical sensation, Asake recently dropped his second album, which he titled “Work of Art”. The album happens not to be the only beauty to behold, its cover is also a work of art.
On the album cover, Asake poses as a painter basking in the work of his art (which in this case will be his music). The actual arts on the cover are the works of Nigerian artist Ayanfe Olarinde.
Ayanfe is a graduate of Microbiology from the University of Lagos and a self-taught multimedia visual artist born in 1996.
Ayanfe’s signature style of incorporating scribbles in her pieces makes her work distinct and catches the attention of anyone who has a liking for art.
This makes everything about Asake’s album a true work of art. “Work of Art” is Asake’s second album after his first one titled, “Mr Money with the Vibe”.
