Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of Daar Communications and prominent figure within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reportedly passed away at the age of 71 in Abuja.

According to sources close to the family, Chief Dokpesi succumbed to illness at an Abuja hospital after experiencing a stroke. The stroke is believed to have occurred shortly after the conclusion of the recent Ramadan fast, leaving him in critical condition. Despite efforts to manage his health, including occupational therapy to enhance his daily activities, Chief Dokpesi’s condition deteriorated, leading to his untimely demise.
