2023 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) best actress in a comedy, Bimbo Ademoye celebrated her victory with a visit to a father.
“Went back home to give the award to my award. My biggest supporter, my rock, my back bone. My father. Met his absence, but I knew exactly where he’d be.” The actress said in an Instagram post.
The 32 year old beat the likes of Funke Akindele, Albert Oluwatoyin, Grace Wacuka and Mercy Johnson for her role in the “Selina”. She attributed her hood for aiding her ability to personify different characters.
“My dad took me to my first audition and waited for 6 hours till I was done. My hood has produced all the characters that has made you laugh.” Bimbo added.
