Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has showered Hilda Baci with praises after her achievement at the cooking marathon.
“What she demonstrated to our nation and every young person out there isn’t the glitz or reward system of breaking the Guinness World record for “longest cooking time”, but the inexhaustible perserverance that every woman possesses.” The Ooni said in an Instagram post.
The Ooni sent a representative to show his support for the Nigerian Chef and believes Hilda’s achievement was the voice the girl child needed.
“As a nation built upon family values, we must continue to recognise the significant contributions made by women throughout our country’s history. Their words and actions are cornerstones of our existence ” He added.
Chef Hilda Baci has also gotten praises from the likes of Bola Tinubu, Muhammadu Buhari, Peter Obi, Godswils Akpabio and host of other dignitaries after she set a new Guinesss World Record of 100 hours for the longest individual cooking.
