President Muhammadu Buhari has sent encouraging words to Hilda Baci, who just the individual Guinness World Record for longest cooking.
“I share the immense joy of all Nigerians as Hilda Bassey Effiong (Hilda Baci) makes history by breaking the world record for longest cooking marathon.” The President said in a tweet.
Hilda Baci broke the previous record set in 2019 by India’s Lata Tondon of 87 hours, 45 minutes. She is gunning for a 96 hours personal record.
“She is now a cultural icon and I believe that this feat will inspire many more young people in Nigeria and beyond to follow in her foot steps”, Buhari added.
