Mark Abu, counsel for the plaintiffs, confirmed the execution of the judgment and noted that the number of vehicles filed in the court processes was more than the number of vehicles released.

The vehicles had been in the custody of the police since 2015, and the plaintiffs filed a writ of summons against the police commissioner and attorney general of Kaduna to obtain their release.
