Tinubu praised by Cuba, Nicaragua, and D8 for presidential victory

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s President-elect, has received congratulations from Cuba, Nicaragua, and the Developing Eight Organizations for Economic Cooperation after winning the presidential election held on February 25.

In a statement by Tinubu’s spokesperson, Tunde Rahman, the Cuban government described Tinubu’s victory as a reaffirmation of the will to strengthen the historic friendship between the two countries.
