Nigeria lost at home 1-0 to Guinea-Bissau in their AFCON 2024 qualifier match.
The Super Eagles were stunned at Moshood Abiola Stadium by the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau after Balde gave the visitors the lead in the 29th minute of the game.
The Nigerians huffed and puffed but were unable to bring down the ever-solid defense of the side from Bissau.
The second leg fixture will take place in Bissau on the 27th of March, 2023. Nigerians will be expecting a better performance from the Super Eagles.
