Director of Strategic Communications for the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council (PDP PCC), Dele Momodu, has expressed disappointment with the outcome of the 2023 election and declared the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, as the worst since 1979.
According to Dele, the amount of resources spent on the country’s election should come with near-perfect guarantees.
The PDP chieftain went on to say that when there are flaws in election records, the INEC Chairman and his team should be heavily sanctioned.
In his post, Momodu stated that he had been voting since 1979 and had never seen an INEC Chairman worse than Professor Yakubu. The PDP chieftain described the situation as sad and unfortunate.
In his words: “The amount of resources that go into Nigerian elections should ordinarily come with guarantees of near perfection and where it fails the INEC Chairman and his team should be heavily sanctioned… I make bold to say PROF YAKUBU is the worst I have seen since I started voting in 1979… So sad and unfortunate.
