Haaland: Man City signed me for Champions League win
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Erling Haaland believes he was brought to Manchester City to help them secure their first Champions League title, having already proven their domestic dominance by winning four out of the last five Premier League titles.

Haaland scored five goals in City’s 7-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, bringing his tally to 10 goals in the competition this season.

Despite his impressive record, Haaland is determined to improve and believes there is still room for growth in his game.

Teammate John Stones praised Haaland’s attitude and hunger for success, while French newspaper L’Equipe gave him a perfect 10 rating and referred to him as “ET” on their front page.

? "I think you’re the only one that knows how to score a lot of goals…"
