The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) refutes claims that its Head of ICT was a former Commissioner in Lagos State and an associate of APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, calling it false.
According to the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Barr. Festus Okoye, all of INEC’s ICT staff are career officers and none have held any political appointment in any state of the Federation.
INEC urged the public to disregard the story and not spread fake news.
