Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Lagos, has restated his belief that his party will replicate their success in the February 25 presidential election by winning the gubernatorial poll in the State on Saturday, March 18.

He made this known in response to a recent interview by his party leader, Mr. Peter Obi, on Arise Television.

In a tweet from his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, the Lagos LP flag-bearer expressed confidence in his party’s ability to win the forthcoming election, citing the values of integrity, competence, and love for people that resonated with Lagosians in the previous poll.

He also thanked Mr. Obi for endorsing his candidacy and urged voters to support the LP, emphasizing that they can win the election. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who is an architect, activist, and politician, is running to unseat incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is seeking a second term under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.

I’d like to thank his excellency @PeterObi for this strong endorsement, we share values of integrity, competence & love for people which resonated with ALL Lagosians, resulting in LP winning Lagos on Feb 25th, & this Saturday we will win in Lagos again.
