Arsenal Beat Chelsea To Lift The Conti Cup

Arsenal Women’s team defeated Chelsea Women’s team 3 – 1 to lift the Conti cup for the sixth time in their history.

Chelsea’s Sam Kerr opened the scoring before Stina Blckstenius, Kim Little and Rafaelle Souza dispatched three goals to need for Arsenal to secure championship status.

“I am very proud of them”, Jonas Eideval coach of the women’s team expressed his satisfaction to the press after the game.

Selhurst Park the venue for the final was sold out. The Arsenal team will be hoping to carry this form into the league as they currently sit in 4th position on the league table.
