In his acceptance speech at the APC Presidential Campaign Council headquarters in Abuja, Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, assured Nigerians that he will serve as their chief servant and work tirelessly to make Nigeria a great country.

He emphasized that he will be a fair leader to all Nigerians and work in tune with their aspirations to deliver a nation that they can be proud of. He extended the hand of friendship to his fellow candidates, including former VP Atiku, former governor Kwankwaso, former governor Obi, and all others, inviting them to collaborate with him in achieving the desired country.

Tinubu commended Nigerians, particularly those who voted for opposition parties, for their participation and dedication to democracy in Nigeria, stating that their move helped to deepen democracy in the country.

He thanked them for placing their trust in the democratic vision of a Nigeria founded on shared prosperity and nurtured by the ideals of unity, justice, peace, and tolerance. Tinubu also thanked the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting a transparent and credible election.

Tinubu was declared the winner of the presidential poll after polling 8,794,726 votes, ahead of his competitors, including the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
