Ohanaeze Ndigbo has issued a warning ahead of the February 25th presidential election that the victory of the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, should not be denied if he wins.

Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, cautioned that any attempt to subvert Obi’s victory would have dire consequences. Isiguzoro urged Nigerians to vote and protect their votes during the election, calling for an end to corruption, executive stealing, and insecurity.

He also called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission not to yield to the pressures of corrupt political elites seeking to maintain their relevance.

Isiguzoro stressed that denying Peter Obi his victory if he wins would spell doom for the country, and he implored that nobody should deny Mr. Obi the presidency if he wins.
