The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) denied reports of raiding the home of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and recovering N400 billion, following rumors in social media.

According to a statement by the Head of Media & Publicity of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC did not carry out any such operation and urged the public to dismiss the news as fake.
