Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, emphasized the important role of voters in ensuring the victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the upcoming February 25 presidential election.
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that the five million votes promised by APC supporters in Lagos can be achieved through the effective campaign strategy employed by the party.
He spoke at the launch of “Eko O Ni Baje” 10,000 Foot Soldiers for Tinubu-Shettima/Sanwo-Olu-Hamzat, a project initiated by the Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola.
The governor praised Tinubu’s academic background, political expertise, and administrative abilities, stating that his election as president would bring a new era of hope for the country.
He also highlighted the importance of proper voter education to minimize void votes and ensure a wide margin of victory. Babatunde Raji Fashola, who is also the Director of Election Planning and Monitoring for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, charged the foot soldiers to fight against misinformation spread by opposition parties.
He emphasized the need for experience in governance and listed the accomplishments of the APC government in Lagos.
