Tinubu should accept his impending defeat – Atiku
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate Bola Tinubu of attacking President Muhammadu Buhari in response to Tinubu’s recent comments on fuel scarcity and the redesign of the Nigerian currency.

Tinubu, who campaigned in Ogun State, claimed that the fuel crisis and currency redesign were attempts to sabotage the 2023 elections.

In response, Atiku said that Tinubu’s statements were a sign of frustration due to his inability to stop the cashless policy and currency redesign of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) that aims to curb vote buying and improve the credibility of the upcoming election.

He also criticized Tinubu for attacking President Buhari and said that Tinubu should accept his impending defeat in the election instead of trying to shift blame.
