Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, has blamed the current fuel scarcity and hike in fuel prices in Nigeria on sabotage by unidentified individuals.
Tinubu made these statements during a campaign event at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He accused these saboteurs of hoarding currency in order to disrupt the upcoming elections, but urged citizens to still vote for him despite the difficulties caused by the fuel scarcity.
He was joined at the event by his running mate Kashim Shettima, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, the pioneer national chairman of the APC Bisi Akande, and the Deputy Director of the APC Campaign Organization Adams Oshiomhole, among others.
Tinubu expressed confidence that the APC would win the election and that the opposition party PDP would fall.
