Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), urged residents of Jigawa to not vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections.
Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s Media Officer, stated that the APC candidate made this request while speaking to party supporters at a campaign rally in Dutse, Jigawa.
Tinubu described members of the PDP as “jackals and hyenas” and warned the crowd that it would be disastrous to vote them back into power.
He urged the people to instead vote for the APC, citing their track record of delivering prosperity in Lagos and Borno States.
“Vote for the people with the vision, the capacity, the competence and the integrity to do what is right, vote for responsive and responsible leadership.
“Vote for us, vote for the APC on Feb. 25 and March 11,” Mr Tinubu said.
Tinubu also discussed his plans for revamping the agricultural sector and developing infrastructure throughout the country.
