President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been spotted alongside Joe Biden and other world leaders, watching Morocco versus France at the 2022 World Cup.
Buhari is currently in the United States of America, where he has been having meetings with other world leaders in Washington.
The 79-year-old was accompanied to the US by Governor Abdulrahman of Kwara State, and they watched the World Cup semi-final together on television.
Going into the semi-final clash with France, Buhari had earlier congratulated the Moroccan national team for their success in reaching the last four, following their win over Portugal.
He was impressed with the performance of the Atlas Lions and for making Africans proud. Buhari might well have been expecting another surprise victory from the North Africans, but they unfortunately were eliminated by their European opposition.
