Chude Jideonwo, host of #WithChude this week announced that the hit TV show, #WithChude now airs on Africa Independent Television (AIT)
Sharing on his Instagram page, Chude said, “I grew up being inspired by seeing Tosin Dokpesi on TV on AIT, and just thinking ‘wow, she’s having such a blast.’
I identified with her so much that when she called me a few months ago, I reflexively responded with ‘Aunty mi’, even though I have never actually spoke to her!
I dreamt of being on TV in my teens, raised on newly minted private stations, couch potato watching a roll call of stars on MBI, MITV, AIT. And wishing that one day, I too would find a public voice on this most magical of media platforms.
To have her and the venerable AIT ask for and bring #WithChude on the station feels like a full cycle moment and is another gorgeous milestone on this journey that’s really just beginning.”
The viral TV show, which currently airs on Africa Magic, Channels TV, Wazobia Max, Rave TV, and digitally is set to kick off in December, every Sunday by 7 pm.
