A seven-storey uncompleted has crumpled at Oba Idowu Oniru street, Lekki area of Lagos state.
At least six people were said to have been entangled in the rubble of the collapsed building.
Emergency responders have been deployed to begin rescue drill.
Confirming the incident, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said the agency has activated its response plan.
Recently, building collapse has become a recurring trend in Lagos.
Earlier in May, the collapse of a three-storey building in Ebute-Meta axis of state claimed at least eight lives.
In February, a three-storey building collapsed in the Onike area of Yaba, leading to several casualties.
