Oyo State acting Governor, Bayo Lawal, yesterday, urged young and vibrant Nigerians to look inward and strive to become inventors rather than struggling for white-collar jobs.?
?The acting governor made the call while hosting organizers of the forthcoming South-West Local Governments Agricultural and Mineral Resources Trade Fair 2022.?

Lawal, at the event held in the conference room of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, noted that the nation is endowed with various marketable natural resources that are not adequately tapped by relevant stakeholders.?

He, however, assured prospective investors of the state’s readiness to further open up its economy with agric business by partnering with them.?

In another development, Vice National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Taofeek Arapaja, yesterday, described Lawal as the embodiment of humility who gives 100 percent loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire people of the state.?

Arapaja gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy call on the acting governor in his office.?
?
He said that Lawal’s wealth of experience would further give the party an edge over its opposition.?
