It is the first interview with the evicted housemate Christy O from Big Brother Naija season 7.
The guest which was the first evicted housemate had an exclusive interview with OSG Media and she shared with us some of the friends she made in the house like Amaka and Pharmsavi.
The way she was nominated by the Head of House (Hermes) and how she couldn’t get along with Beauty while in the house.
The interview started by asking her a few questions which she answered.
OSG: Tell us what was your first thoughts when you stepped into Biggie’s house, the emotion, and what you feel.?
Christy O: I was overwhelmed, it was like finally because it was a long process getting into the house.
OSG: Your first interaction with the housemate from the other house which is level one during the HOH game, how did they make you feel to realize that you guys had like the other housemates in the house thinking it was only one house?
Christy O: Funny stuff, I came in on Saturday, so in my head, I was like since they said double lunch now, other people are going to come in but then I was thinking the place is very small, where are they going to stay, so we didn’t know anything. It was just a normal day for us, so at the HOH games and we thought we were all happy to see our roommates because we shared a room.
OSG: Who did you share rooms with?
Christy O: Bella
OSG: Tell us about it, what was the experience like during the lockdown?
Christy O: Oh! Well, she’s a sweetheart, she’s a very sweet girl.
OSG: You were saying something about the HOH game.
Christy O: So seeing my partners at the HOH game, I was happy to see her, I mean like the first time we saw each other, it was good vibes and all of that until it became a war.
OSG: So tell us about yourself and Amaka. You guys seem to get pretty close leading up to the time of the eviction. So what attracted you to Amaka?
Christy O: Amaka, you know she’s loud, she’s all over the place, so she reminds me of my younger sister, that’s how she is and at the end of the day, even though she comes about this very loud girl, she’s a sweet girl.
OSG: Tell us about that part of Hermes
Christy O: Apart from the obvious reason that he put me up, he is just too extra.
OSG: So speaking about Amaka, did she pay you the money after you guys had a bet with that Dotun or Giddyfia on the Saturday night’s party?
Christy O: She didn’t pay me that money, so she’s owing me.
OSG: For your level with the housemates in the house, who was that one person you struggles with in getting along?
Christy O: Beauty, we couldn’t connect well.
OSG: Why?
Christy O: I don’t know, like the second day, she said to me that I rolled my eyes at her and the and that blah blah blah and I was like a baby girl, it just who I am. But we were supposed to connect the following day but I’m like let’s see how it goes outside.
OSG: Have you guys seen her since you got outside?
Christy O: Yes, and we also talked on the phone but she’s busy and trying to wrap her head around everything that happens.
OSG: Now that you’re out of the house, let’s talk about some of the housemates you interacted with in the house, and then look at you and Savvy. Can you tell us what is going on between both of you in the house?
Christy O: Smile! Well, I’m Savvy. I and Savvy are friends, you know he went from being a housemate to a friend, but no romantic or whatever.
OSG: So there was a time Savvy said “He wants to put you in seven positions in seven minutes.” He also mentioned that he was going to make you scream and you seems to be blushing during the conversation. So tell me, was it just for TV or it was a real conversation between you two?
Christy O: I don’t know, I think savvy was just saying that because you know I’ll always say to him that you’re always looking for people to stay in the room with us and he will always say to me that Christy O, you’re lucky there are cameras here. So I’m sure he said that because he wanted me to say oh okay.
Maybe faster is the way because of the camera but maybe outside, he would make me scream but I doubt he’s going to make me scream.
OSG: Alright, you showed your fans a glimpse of your intellect, you know during the first wager task which your level won. So your drumming skills wowed your fellow housemates. So is it something you have done before like a stage performance or would we be seeing you in any Nollywood movies in the future?
Christy O: Yeah! Nollywood movies.
OSG: What about your drumming skills?
Christy O: Drumming was just something, my brother’s drum and in my house, we have a whole drum set and all of that.
OSG: You spent just 2 weeks in the house, I would like to know if you bonded with any of the housemates on your level and other levels aside from Bella.
Christy O: Hmm, for my level I think I bonded well with Amaka, Phyna, Pharmsavi, and Groovy as well. I bonded with those four and had a couple of conversations with others aside from the fact that I just hate this and that blah blah blah stuff. On the other level, I think I bonded with Chichi on the dance floor because we both like to dance, and again Giddyfia. After all, they presented and I got the fire and I was like what’s up?
OSG: So thinking about the Saturday night party, you experienced two Saturday night parties, so can you tell us the one you enjoyed most?
Christy O: I will say the last one because of the drinks/)×(| the first one was strictly beer and it wasn’t my thing, I like beer but not that particular brand but then the second one was the best.
OSG: So you also had another experience in the house which was the pool party, I remembered this season is different and unpredictable from the selection of housemates to what you expect in the house and what we haven’t seen on TV. So the first-week level 1 housemate had their pool party, and week two also gas their own, so can you tell us what was your experience and how you guys enjoyed the party?
Christy O: You know the first week we didn’t get to go to the pool party, I was like omg because I brought like 12 bikinis to the house for the pool party, so when we didn’t go for the pool party, we were like no we have to do something too in the house and that was how we dressed up but the second week that we’re able to go into the pool, oh my gosh, it was lit. But unfortunately, I couldn’t go into the pool because my skin react to the water but I still had fun.
OSG: So for that to wrap up, can you tell us what your favorite moment was in the house?
Christy O: Umm, the task, the wager challenge, I always look forward to that because you know you get to show your creative strategy and then fur party where I get to shake my butt.
OSG: One last question, what should we expect from you now that you’re out of the house and what we should look forward to seeing from you?
Christy O: Umm before going into the house, I already had like a cosmetic brand, so now that I have like a bigger platform, I will push that and then you know like maybe acting and I think I found a new talent in the house while there which is presenting, so I think I’d also look into that as well.
