
Athlete, Tobi Amusan was born on the 23rd of April, 1997 in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state, Nigeria.
She is the last child of three and specializes in the 100 meters hurdles.

She sets a new world record of 12.12 seconds in the semifinal, followed up by a 12.06 seconds record in the final to take the gold medal.
The sprinter, Amusan was named C-USA Female Track Athlete of the Year in 2016.
She ran a then lifetime best and UTEP record of 12.63 s in the 100 meters hurdles and represented Nigeria at the Rio Olympics, reaching the semifinals of the 100 mH.
Nigeria’s Blessing Amusan won gold in the 100m hurdles at the just concluded 2022 African Championships.
She also won a bronze medal in the 4 x 100m relay with her teammates Joy Udo-Gabriel, Blessing Okagbare, and Rosemary Chukwuma.
