According to Universal Music Canada, Selena’s album did amazingly well “selling 16,500 copies in its first week, since it was released on July 23 in Canada.
This is Selena’s first #1 debut in Canada and features Selena’s double-platinum hit single Come & Get It, as well as her most recent single, Slow Down. Internationally, Stars Dance debuted at # 1 in twenty-eight countries and top 10 in eighty-four countries on iTunes.

This is 21 year-old Disney star’s fourth and most successful album ever. And, the singer’s album reportedly sold 97,000 copies in it’s first week of release within the U.S.
She’s also enjoyed a steady increase with each one of her albums besting the previous one. At 21, Gomez becomes the youngest female solo artist to top the charts since her BFF, Taylor Swift did so at 20 back in 2010.
