Terrorists who abducted Kaduna-Abuja train passengers have reportedly released five male and six female out of the 61 passengers abducted.
Confirming this development, Alhaji Tukur Mamu, the negotiator and media consultant to controversial cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, said the 11 victims were released on Saturday, after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government.
Recall, on March 28, 2022, gunmen suspected to be terrorists abducted travellers, after killing nine, and wounding others.
The release of the victims is coming after the terrorists had threatened to start killing the victims if the Federal Government refuses to negotiate.
