The United Nations children’s fund representative, Saadhna Panday Soobrayan has announced that Nigeria is off the track in achieving sustainable development goal 4 which is quality education.
She also stated that the Coronavirus pandemic aggravated the fragility of Nigeria’s education systems which was already striving with poor access to quality learning today.

“Additionally, frequent attacks on the school including the abduction of children, who should always be safe in school has resulted in prolonged school closures and is contributing to high rates of out-of-school children and low learning outcome”- Soobrayan
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu said the education curriculum would focus on skills and entrepreneurship to enhance the employability of graduates.
