Businessman, Obi Cubana Shuts Down Abuja Club After Clubgoer Dies
Hustle and Bustle, a club owned by billionaire businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, has been temporarily shut down.
The club was shut down by its management after a clubgoer was electrocuted on Sunday night, 14th November 2021.
Obi Cubana confirmed this with a post on his Instagram story simultaneously with the club’s official Instagram post.
Confirming the tragic incident, the club said it had suspended activities “till further notice”.
The statement read, “We are closed till further notice. This is due to the loss of our esteemed client. We are deeply saddened by this situation and need time to heal from it”.
“Our prayers are with the families of the lost soul. May her soul Rest In Peace. We sympathise with the family on this unbearable loss. Kindly bear with us as we pass through this storm.”
This comes after he was released from the custody of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after he spent three days.
The anti-corruption agency, arrested Obi Cubana on Monday, 1st November 2021, and interrogated him at its headquarters in Abuja for alleged money laundering.
