Eid-el-Kabir Celebration: Federal Government Declares Thursday and Friday As Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Thursday, 30th July and Friday, 31st July as public holiday to mark the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

This was announced by the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who also congratulated all Muslims on the occasion. He also urged them to practice love, peace, kindness, and to also pray for the peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the land as the country battles Covid-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, he urged all Nigerians to take responsibility during the celebration against the spread of Covid-19 pandemic by practising all safety protocols, including washing and sanitizing of hands, physical and social distancing as well as other regulations issued by relevant authorities.
