Federal Government is set to shut down the third mainland bridge for six months from 24th July, 2020. This was announced by the Federal Controller of Works, Olukayode Popoola who said that the closure of the bridge is a preparation of the next phase of repairs which would commence on the outward mainland section of the bridge.
The Federal Controller of Works, Olukayode Popoola also added that the ministry is working with traffic agencies to ensure free flow of traffic during the period.
