According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos is now the richest person in the face of the global economic recession as his net worth hits $171.6 Billion. This isn’t a surprise as online shopping overtook physical shopping during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Much of Bezos’ wealth is tied to Amazon as he holds about 57 million shares of the company.
