New Covid-19 Cases Emerge in China

It first appeared that China was on her way to recovery from the deadly Coronavirus pandemic but on Thursday, Beijing announced its first infection in two months and also said that 50 more cases had been linked to the large Xinfadi meat and vegetable market, which provides much of the capital’s food supply.

This has led to the China government taking stringent actions by forcing residents in 11 nearby residential estates to stay at home and also by ordering mass testing of its citizens. Furthermore, theatres and sporting events have been shut down till further notice.
