The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is ready to move on with the re-opening of the economy as he is not waiting for further directives from the World Health Organization. The President has also classified religious places of worship as essential services that should have remained open during the lockdown. However, since Trump is ready for a re-opening, the religious places of worship in the United States of America will be opened soon.
The President has also said that the governors of the different states should comply with this order and open all religious places of worship as he now deems them as essential services.
He said via a news conference in the White House, “some governors have deemed liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential but have left out churches and other houses of worship. It’s not right.
Today I am identifying houses of worship — churches, synagogues and mosques — as essential places that provide essential services.
“The governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now, for this weekend. If they don’t do it, I will override the governors. In America, we need more prayer, not less.”
