Many sporting activities have been hit by the Coronavirus pandemic and have been postponed to 2021. One of such sporting activities is the Women’s Under-17 World Cup which has been scheduled to hold in November, 2020.

The FIFA President has announced that the Women Under-17 World Cup will now hold in February, 2021 across five cities in India. This will therefore give India quality time to be able to organize and plan ahead the sporting activity. Also the Women Under-20 World Cup sporting activity will be played between January 20 to February 6, 2021 in Costa Rica and Panama. The FIFA Futsal World Cup has also been postponed to September, 2021.
