On many occasions, celebrities warn their fans not to fall victim of scammers who pose in their names to extort money from them, which is why they are always excited when their real pages are verified.
The actress excitedly shared with her fans how she noticed the blue badge on her page, while thanking her friends who put her through the process of getting verified.

I just looked up on my profile picture to post an update and for a second, I thought, I was seeing double. Because there were two kinds of signs, the blue cross?and this sign ?, both blue there. I did my usual update and the cross went out but this sign ? in blue remained. I looked closely and realized it’s the verification blue badge from Instagram.
