In many cultures, a woman takes on the name of her husband immediately after paying her dowry but an American man, Howard Sueing, has done otherwise.
Howard took to the popular micro-blogging, platform, Twitter, to reveal that he has adopted his Nigerian wife’s surname, Ekundayo.
I recently got married! I'm replacing my birth surname/suffix (Sueing III) with @SimplyBukks's (Ekundayo) so that we can pass it on to our future children. "Ekundayo" means "to turn tears to joy" in Yoruba.
