Jack Ma, the co-founder and former executive chairman of popular Chinese e-commerce firm, Alibaba group, is in Nigeria. This is Ma’s first visit to the county.
Channels TV reported that Ma led a large delegation of Chinese investors to Nigeria and the vice president, Yemi Osibanjo has promised government support.
Ma also revealed his desire to invest in the country through his “Four Es” programme – E-infrastructure, Entrepreneurship, E-government, and Education.
Meanwhile, the Chinese businessman is the guest speaker at the first Digital Economy Summit, holding in Abuja this Thursday and Friday.
Jack Ma will be speaking on leveraging digital economy for trade and investment.
